Yeah, this is Vanille from FFXIII! It's not like she's my favorite character from the game, it's just that she seemed a whole lot easier to draw than Lightning <__<; ...

Just tryin' out some new digital techniques, some of which were borrowed from 's tutorial, which can be found here: [link] Most of the techniques borrowed are somewhat modified, however.

The piece itself was directly referenced from this picture: [link] . By "directly referenced", I mean it was painted while looking and replicating the image. If I say it was indirectly referenced, I would mean that the piece did use reference(s), but the painted subject is not necessarily in the same position, doesn't look the same, etc.

Vanille is a character from Final Fantasy XIII, which was developed/produced and is copyright to Square Enix.
